Our philosophy

Superpower Communications provides all of the services of a traditional PR & Communications agency, with some neurospicy additions. 

The consultancy sprang from Co-founders Penelope and Sarah’s desire to do things differently. As neurodivergent women, they’d both faced misunderstanding and sometimes discrimination in the corporate environment. They’d also seen neurodivergent colleagues being underutilised due to a lack of workplace knowledge about how to get the best out of them and channel their neurodivergent superpowers. 

As passionate and experienced communicators, they were driven to utilise their skills to make change for the next generation of ND’ers – including Penelope’s sons and Sarah’s nephews – by working with employers on their journey to neuroinclusion.

That’s where Superpower Communications comes in - offering all the traditional PR and strategic services you’d expect a super-powered communications agency to provide, with the much-needed addition of workplace neuroinclusivity consulting.

Penelope and Sarah’s philosophy centres around education being the first step on the neuroinclusion journey, with understanding then following. They take a storytelling approach to their consultancy, where they not only provide the tools and strategies to promote change but share examples of their own lived experience as neurodivergent professionals.
